In the past several weeks of what has been dubbed "Divorce Month," a number of celebrities have announced their decisions to file for divorce. And while in our last post we talked about actress Zooey Deschanel's recent "amicable" split from musician husband Ben Gibbard, now Heidi Klum and Seal have also decided to end their marriage.

Klum and Seal have been married for the past seven years; and have often made headlines for what seemed like their complete adoration for each other as the two renewed their wedding vows every year. However, a source close to the couple said Klum and Seal had two extremes: the public displays of affection or fighting.

When looking at what happened to cause their split, sources point to the fact that Klum has been very busy with her career, like hosting "Project Runway," and Seal has been on a music tour where he has reportedly been out partying. Essentially, their careers created a distance between the two.

Looking to the future -- just like any couple who splits -- the two could end up having to make some rather challenging decisions. For example, the two have three children together, and if both are very busy with their careers, who would be the most stable parent for the children to live with? And, what about the allegations and concerns regarding Seal supposedly partying while on tour? Could this end up being used against him in court?

Overall, throughout their marriage both Klum and Seal appeared to have a great deal of respect for each other, so it will be interesting to see how their divorce ends up playing out in court and if they are able to remain civil to one another.
